For unfurnished leases constituting the tenant's main residence: if the tenant does not spontaneously carry out the rent review on the date agreed in the lease, the lessor must express his willingness to revise the rent, within one year, this rent review takes effect from his request.
If the lessor does not express his willingness to apply the rent revision within one year of the effective date of this revision, he is deemed to have waived the benefit of this clause for the past year.

Good to know
The new rent may be subject to the annual rent review. This means that after 3 years or 6 years, the rent will have increased more than the amount resulting from the revaluation.
